University of Groningen Medical Students elective at Chulalongkorn School of Global Health

CU SGH were very pleased to welcome Mr. Bart te Braak, Ms. Nadia Deist, Ms. Johanna Haschka, Ms. Lois Van Loenen, Ms. Janneke Oosthoek, Ms. Ione Grammatikopoulos Pallidis, and Mr. Ole Zijistra of the University of Groningen between 8 April – 23 May.

Mr. Bart te Braak, Ms. Lois Van Loenen, Ms. Janneke Oosthoek, and Mr. Ole Zijistra observed pediatric infectious diseases clinical services and comprehensive adolescent care services, and conducted literature reviews to support the costing analysis of the integration of collaborative care for mental healthcare into routine adolescent HIV services.

Ms. Nadia Deist, Ms. Johanna Haschka, and Ms. Ione Grammatikopoulos Pallidis did their research on the risk factors for the development of hepatotoxicity in HIV patients being treated with dolutegravir-based antiretroviral therapy in the HIV-NAT 006 cohort.
