CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Deadline: December 31, 2024
In an era that demands both innovation and collaboration across disciplines, the 2025 AUA
Academic Conference and Workshops on “SAFE Reproductive Health” emerges as a
beacon of knowledge and progress in the field of reproductive health. Hosted by the School of
Global Health, Faculty of Medicine, together with the Office of International Affairs and
Global Network, Chulalongkorn University, this pioneering event is set to explore the
multifaceted aspects of reproductive health, underlining the importance of comprehensive
healthcare for sustainable societal development.
1. Conference Theme
The “SAFE Reproductive Health” conference aims to bring together a
diverse group of professionals and academics from AUA universities and beyond to explore
the transformative role of reproductive health in achieving sustainable development.
Centered around the concept of SAFE—Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights,
Access to Comprehensive Healthcare, Freedom from Violence, and Equality, as well as
Sustainability, Accessibility, Freedom, and Equity—the event will foster multidisciplinary
collaboration and cross-cultural exchanges to address global reproductive health challenges.
This conference also underscores the pivotal role of reproductive health in advancing the
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health
and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 9 (Industry,
Innovation, and Infrastructure), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships
for the Goals).
2. Participation
We encourage submissions from faculty members, students, policymakers,
professionals, and academics in relevant practices who are open-minded and ready to
explore reproductive health. We particularly welcome contributions addressing the needs of
displaced people and marginalized populations, ensuring their perspectives and challenges
are integral to the discussions. This is a unique opportunity for AUA members and non-
member participants alike to contribute to the global dialogue on reproductive health and
promote equitable solutions for all communities.
