The School of Global Health invites you to join the brand-new online course PentaTr@ining: ‘Infection Prevention and Control in Paediatric Settings’.

The online course kicks off on 10th March and will run until 11th May. The in-depth and timely programme is led by an international faculty panel from the Penta ID Network. The online course will consist of interactive live webinars, thought-provoking case discussions, video lectures, key diagnostic tools, knowledge check quizzes, and a wealth of further educational resources. The online learning will be complemented by a fully immersive face-to-face simulation workshop in Greece or Cyprus (final venue ‘TBC’) in October. The practical on-site workshop is purposefully designed to consolidate the online learning component on the course, and will cover a range of best practices, including insertion methods, access and maintenance of catheters, as well as comprehensive simulation scenarios.

Moreover, this new training course offers a unique networking opportunity for participants, with the chance to engage with a wide range of delegates and leading experts from around the globe!

There will be a special discounted rate for ESPID members who wish to attend the simulation workshop, and the fee is fully waived for anyone who is interested in undertaking the online component of the course.
