Program Overview
Short Introduction
Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences and Biotechnology is an International Double-Degree program, which is the cooperation between the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University and the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, University of Liverpool.
The curriculum has been developed by the collaboration between both universities. Students can choose to enroll in either Chulalongkorn University or University of Liverpool.
Students will be provided with access to the electronic systems of both institutions. Every student will be assigned at least two supervisors, at least one supervisor employed by the University of Liverpool and at least one supervisor employed by Chulalongkorn University. Students will spend the minimum of 12 months at each institution. During their period of study, students may undertake the University of iverpool’s Teaching for Researchers Program, and other suitable courses to develop their learning and teaching skills. If this is the case, then the students should spend a period at Liverpool in excess of 12 months. After fulfilling the requirements, the Ph.D. award will be granted by each partner institution.
